The Velan coat features innovative dope dye technology that allows for a waterless dyeing process. Instead of adding an extra step to the dyeing process (after spinning the yarn), this technology adds the dye granules directly to the 100% recycled polyester granules, melts them together to blend, and then transforms them into a yarn. This locks the color into the yarn while the polyester cools into a solid form.
